About the Scholarship
Hale Injury Law believes in helping the next generation of leaders. The Hale Injury Law Distracted Driving Scholarship is an annual scholarship. We award $2500 to a law school student who shows exceptional character and aptitude and who contributes toward education about Distracted Driving.
Who is Eligible?
The Hale Injury Law Scholarship is available to first and second year law school students or to students admitted to law school in the upcoming school semester.
About Distracted Driving
Distracted driving is one of the most dangerous byproducts of our modern culture. We want to eliminate distracted driving by promoting education about its dangers. Distracted drivers today cause an alarming number of injuries and fatalities. Our goal is to raise awareness and place a sense of urgency around driver safety.
Applicants need to submit their application below. Include all of the following:
- Your Essay – Your essay is a 1000 word or less. The topic is Distracted Driving – My Experience and Lessons Learned
- Your Transcript or Acceptance Letter – we require a current transcript or acceptance letter from an accredited law school.
Award Timeline and Announcement
Submissions for the 2016 award are closed. Stay tuned for our announcement of the winner and we will be posting information about the 2017 scholarship in the near future.
